Nathan Tindall

My name is Nathan Tindall. Umm...well, before this trip, I really

didn't know what to expect. I'm sure a lot of the other Americans on the

team were in the same position as me. I'm sure we all had a little bit of

expectation in our mind, but not sure in any way exactly how it's gonna be

all the way the heck over there in Ukraine. Well...we fly from New York to Kyiv, get off the plane and it feels basically the same as it does all the

way over here in Texas. Yay for summer time!

One thing that I noticed and that I respected and was in awe of, while we were over there in Ukraine, is the kindness and the great SINCERITY of the Ukrainians that we came in contact with. I really saw honesty and love and affection from the Ukrainian people. During the trip, I was praying that God would humble me and that he would help me to be selfless. I wanted to be broken and even brought to tears. I know that I was going through some struggles while we were there, but on the last day we were there, right when we were leaving, God broke my heart. I saw the love of the people over there, I saw their gratitude, and I was bawling and God was trying to break any pride and jealousy and selfishness outta me. He was and still is teaching me to love, to be patient, to trust, to be a better friend, to not be fearful. The Lord is GOOD as ALWAYS.
