Ukraine Vida Nueva ukraine.ctvn.info

Shelly Rogers

I had such a wonderful time in Ukraine. If I had taken my husband and my cats with me, I would have not come back to America for a long time.

I can't say enough about how great the team was! The Americans were so much fun and it seems like we bonded well. The Ukrainian team were very accommodating to us and took excellent care of us.

I got to see more of Kyiv than I did on my previous visit, so I have many pictures of the city. I also got to do more shopping than before, so I loaded up on tea and chocolate.

The Vida Nueva weekends went well.  I led the first retreat weekend and it seemed like the girls (and women) who attended really enjoyed themselves. Many came back to serve on the second weekend!

I am really going to miss Ukraine. I love the people I met and the country is just beautiful.  I hope to go back someday.
